Welcome to Holly Corcoran Endurance

Holly  Corcoran is a resident of Pennsylvania and life-long horsewoman,  She and her horses have won 10 out  of 12 100-mile rides during the 2018-20 ride seasons. In January 2020, Holly  was ranked first place FEI endurance rider worldwide, sharing the spotlight with Poete who was ranked first horse. Ms. Corcoran has maintained a competitive 88% AERC and 72% FEI completion rates. Completion rate measures the rides completed over total rides started.

Ms. Corcoran discovered Endurance in 2003.  By 2008 she set a long-term goal to represent the USA internationally. In 2016 Holly qualified with her horse Faveur for the World Endurance Championships (WEC) in  Slovakia. In 2018 Holly qualified  her horses Faveur and Poete for World Equestrian Games in Tryon, NC. Faveur went on to be ridden for the South African team.  Currently, Holly has qualified her 2007 Arabian gelding Poete and 2011 Arabian mare Poetrie for WEC to  be held in San Rossore, Italy. Both horses are ranked within the top five for USA selection. As an invited rider, Holly has ridden FEI in Brazil, 2014 and Dubai, 2017. 

Ms. Corcoran has  mentored numerous Young Riders in their quest to gain skills and qualifications in international riding.  On a local level, Holly has hosted clinics, talks and field trips to educate riders of other disciplines about endurance.

Holly’s motto is “Take care of the horse and the horse will take care of the rest.” While Endurance is a race, Ms. Corcoran’s goal is to complete with a sound and healthy horse, hence her numerous Best Condition Awards with her horses. Holly Corcoran is a dedicated horsewoman and is excited to represent the USA in San Rossore, Italy in September 2020 should she be given the opportunity.

 Ms. Corcoran is a certified public accountant running her own practice in Stroudsburg, PA since 1991. She owns 5 Asgard Arabians at her farm in Effort, PA where she lives with her Border Collie, Rhett. Her daughter Kelly Corcoran, VMD is a 2016 graduate of University of Pennsylvania working at Cross River Veterinarian service as a full time equine vet.
